This is my second piece inspired by the documentary Ugly Delicious.
This piece was also heavily influenced by the coronavirus pandemic, not being able to have the social connections were are used to, only communicating through screens. This piece relates to the way i feel when learning about a new culture and food, fully immersed and at awe, the way the ugly delicious docs make me feel. All i wanted to do was go out to eat, find some hidden gems in my city, but instead i ordered online and got myself all cozy. (i kept my sock out of the eggs though)
